DLT系列瀝青脫桶裝置主要由脫桶箱體、起吊機構、液壓推進器及電器控制系統等部分組成。箱體分上下兩室，上室為桶裝瀝青熔化室，四周均布有加熱盤管，加熱管與瀝青桶主要以輻射方式換熱，達到瀝青脫桶的目的，數條導軌，為瀝青桶進入的軌道。下室主要是將桶中脫出的瀝青繼續加熱，使溫度達到吸泵溫度（ 130 ℃），然后由瀝青泵泵入高溫罐，如果延長加熱時間可獲得更高的溫度。起吊機構采用懸臂結構，通過電動葫蘆將瀝青桶提起，再橫向移動將瀝青桶放在導軌上，然后由液壓推進器將桶推入上室，與此同時，后端出口處**出一只空桶。瀝青桶入口處平臺上還設有油槽，防止滴落的瀝青外流。 該裝置進出口門采用彈簧自動關閉機構，瀝青桶推入或推出后門可自動關閉，減少熱量損失。瀝青出口處設有溫度表，可觀察瀝青出口溫度。電器控制系統可控制液壓泵的啟閉和電磁換向閥換向，實現液壓缸進退。
