     采用橡膠或塑料等軟質密封制作的隔膜，密封性較好。由于隔膜為易損件，應視介質特性而定期更換。受隔膜材料限制，隔膜閥適用于低壓和溫度相對不高的場合。
隔膜閥按結構形式可分為：屋式隔膜閥、直流式隔膜閥、截止式隔膜閥、直通式隔膜閥、閘板式隔膜閥和直角式隔膜閥六種;連接形式通常為法蘭連接;按驅動方式可分為手動、電動和氣動三種，其中氣動驅動又分為常開式、常閉式和往復式三種。隔膜閥是利用閥桿將彈性體薄膜緊壓在閥座上用來隔斷氣路。轉動手輪可帶動閥桿上、下移動，使隔膜離開閥座打開閥門或使隔膜緊壓在閥座上關閉閥門。此種閥門如采用丁晴橡膠隔膜，適用于前級和預抽管道上及溫度為-25～80℃的非腐蝕性氣體。如采用氟橡膠隔膜，可用于高真空系統，使用溫度范圍為-30～150℃
