當列車沿著回環移動時，作用在乘客身上的合力在不斷地變化。在回環的較底部，因為加速度朝上，所以軌道對游客向上的支撐力要大于重力，此時游客可以感覺到**重的現象，即感覺特別沉重。當一路沖上回環時，重力則把乘客向地板的方向推。所以乘客會感到重力將您向座位方向擠壓。
在回環的**部，乘客完全倒轉了過來，指向地面的重力以及軌道的向下的支持力想把乘客拖出座位，但支持力和重力僅與離心力平衡，即提供運動所需的向心力，此時若是飛車的速度較小，小到所產生的離心力小于重力的話，飛車就會有掉落的危險，所以，在回環**部的時候要求有一定的速度以**安全。同時也是由于離心力的存在，抵消了一部分重力，于是乘客會產生失重現象，感覺身體變得較輕。等列車駛出回環，沿水平方向行進，乘客又會回到原來的重力。
