西班牙米黃以碳酸鈣為主體，但有較多的硅、鎂成份，色彩沿著晶隙滲透，纏綿交錯，成為一幅大自然的藝術品.高檔建筑裝修的可以選擇石材。底色米黃色，少量細紅線，光度好。種類繁多，西班牙米黃分為四個種類：COTO常規米黃，ZAFRA紅米黃，SP閃電米黃，ZIVAS水印米黃。有米粒型，白花型等種類，底色從淺白到深黑都有，均有各種顏色的色線和紅線，其中以白底，白紋料較為佳。
