山型橡膠止水帶是采用國家標準GB18173.2-2000標準組織生產的，尺寸公差一律按國家標準執行，如用戶有特殊要求，可按用戶要求制造。橡膠止水帶和止水橡皮系以天然橡膠與各種合成橡膠為主要原料,摻加各種助劑及填充料,經塑煉、混煉、壓制成型,其品種規格較多,有橋型、山型、P型、U型、Z型、乙型、T型、H型、E型、Q型等.根據使用情況又可分類為埋式橡膠止水帶和背貼式橡膠止水帶。該止水材料具有良好的彈性,耐磨性、耐老化性和抗撕裂性能,適應變形能力強、防水性能好,溫度使用范圍為-45℃-+60℃.當溫度**過70℃,以及山型橡膠止水帶受強烈的氧化作用或受油類等有機溶劑侵蝕時,均不得使用山型橡膠止水帶。

山型橡膠止水帶在運輸與貯存時不能長時間露天曝曬，防止雨淋，勿與污染性強的化學物質接觸，防止機械，鋼筋損傷。產品應存放場所較好保持-10℃－+30℃，相對濕度在40%－80%應注意勿使其損壞，放置于通風、干燥處、并應避免陽光直射，禁止與酸堿油類等接觸，且隔離熱源，應保存于室內，并不得重壓，成品應取直平放，勿加重壓。存放場所較好保持-10+30，相對濕度40%80%。自生產日期起半年內產品性能應符合國家標準的規定。
