Y2系列電動機是Y系列的改進設計，產品性能*與**IEC標準接軌，具有結構新穎、造型大方美觀、震動小、噪音低、耐熱和防護等級提高等特點，具有九十年代****水平，是Y系列的換代產品。 該系列電動機應用于無特殊要求的機械設備，如各類機床、農業機械、食品機械、鼓風機、空壓機、攪拌機、減速機、及建筑行業等。作電動機運行的三相異步電機。三相異步電動機轉子的轉速低于旋轉磁場的轉速，轉子繞組因與磁場間存在著相對運動而感生電動勢和電流，并與磁場相互作用產生電磁轉矩，實現能量變換。
