YB2系列煤礦井下用隔爆型三相異步電動機為YB2系列電動機的更新換代產品,具有性能穩定、轉矩大、噪音低、振動小，防爆結構**、**性高等優點。其安裝尺寸及功率等級等同于YB系列電動機。電機的絕緣等級為F級，也可根據用戶要求制成H級絕緣的電機，外殼防護等級設計為IP55，以適應煤礦井下特殊環境的要求。電機的額定電壓為380/660V或660/1140V；額定頻率為50HZ；基準工作制為SI。
該系列電動機應用于無特殊要求的機械設備，如各類機床、農業機械、食品機械、鼓風機、水泵、空壓機、攪拌機、減速機及建筑行業等。
