 鵝卵石簡介：
 
      鵝卵石，是開采黃砂的附產品，因為狀似鵝卵而得名。鵝卵石作為一種純天然的石材，取自經歷過千萬年前的地殼運動后由古老河床隆起產生的砂石山中，經歷著山洪沖擊、流水搬運過程中不斷的擠壓、摩擦。在數萬年滄桑演變過程中，它們飽經浪打水沖的運動，被礫石碰撞磨擦失去了不規則的棱角，又和泥沙一道被深埋在地下沉默了千百萬年。鵝卵石（礫石）主要化學成分是二氧化硅，其次是少量的氧化鐵和微量的錳、銅、鋁、鎂等元素及化合物。它們本身具有不同的色素，如赤紅者為鐵，藍者為銅，紫者為錳，黃色半透明為二氧化硅膠體石髓，翡翠色含綠色礦物等等；由于這些色素離子溶入二氧化硅熱液中的種類和含量不同，因而呈現出濃淡、深淺變化萬千的色彩，使鵝卵石呈現出黑、白、黃、紅、墨綠、青灰等色系。
